Requirements to join The Association of Finnish Lawyers

If You have law studies/law degree completed abroad

a) You have a decision on recognition of Your degree as comparable to a Finnish Master of Laws degree (OTM/lawyer degree) given by Finnish National Agency for Education. (To get Your degree recognized in Finland usually means that You have to do studies related to Finnish legal system).

OR

b) Your law studies/degree completed abroad are comparable, in terms of level and scope, to a Master of Laws degree (OTM degree/lawyer degree) completed in Finland. This usually means (180 credits/3 years Bachelor of Laws + 120 credit/2 years Master of Laws).

Please attach to membership application all diplomas of Your law degree/s as well as documents specifying the content of Your degrees.
